Mr. Akhil Ganatra was invited by the World Council for Corporate Governance to speak at the Global Convention on Climate Security, held from the 12th  - 14th June 2009 in the Himalayan resort of Palampur (HP, India). The convention housed the biggest assembly, comprising over 400 distinguished business leaders, legislators, policy makers, financial analysts, bankers, legal luminaries, academia, NGOs and social entrepreneurs in this part of the world. Special addresses were delivered by Dr. Ola Ullsten, former Prime Minister of Sweden, Bianca Jagger, Chairman, World Future Council, Prof. P.K. Dhumal, and H.E. Prabhu Rau, Chief Minister and Governor of Himachal Pradesh, and other leading scientists and oenologists. Mr. Ganatra represented the real estate and construction industry at this convention. His visions and ideas were greatly appreciated by all present.

Mr. Akhil Ganatra, Managing Director of Clancy Global has been certified as a LEED Accredited Professional by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). Amongst the very few LEED AP in India Mr. Akhil Ganatra is one of the youngest in the lot.

Mr. Akhil Ganatra was interviewed by NDTV at GIREM the three day Urban Planning and Real Estate Leadership summit 2008.
