  • Clancy Global has been appointed as consultants to the follwing prestigious projects.

  • US Open Apartments by Nirmal Lifestyle

    The first of which is the prestigious US Open Apartments which has 1.5 million sq. ft. of development area, is a premium offering from the Nirmal Lifestyle real estate developer is India’s very first sports lifestyle apartments. With state of the art infrastructure and aesthetic appeal, these apartments attempt to fuse luxury living with a healthy living style. The proof of which is a well equipped fitness centre on the 46th floor which includes facilities like jogging track, cycling track, baseball court, swimming pool and badminton court.

  • RNA Exotica by RNA Builder

    The second project is the RNA Exotica, the pride of Goregaon, Mumbai, with a 1.45 million sq. ft. of residential development consisting of 48 floors. RNA is considered to be one of the foremost property developers of India with an experience that spans 2 decades. In the last decade it has developed an astounding 10 million sq. ft. consisting of diverse projects with about 51 mill sq. ft. under development in the residential & commercial sectors.

  • Charosa Wineries by HCC

    Charosa Wineries based in Nashik, Maharashtra is the sister concern of Hindustan Construction Company. The winery has been built to a capacity of 0.9 million litres and for manufacturing premium wines. There are future plans to develop the estate into a resort/guest house for visitors and accommodation for its employees. Clancy Global is extremely proud to be associated with each of these distinguished clients and aspires to uphold its reputation of delivering only uncompromising quality.

 
 
LEED pre-certified projects
  • Clancy Global has facilitated the below two projects and have also received pre-certification for the same by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

  • La Residency by ACC Cement

    One of them, La Residency in Thane has received a LEED Platinum and is a state of the art accommodation facility for the candidates of the ACC Academy. The aim was to take the existing building and transforming it into an accommodation facility by using cutting edge global best practices to improve the efficient use of water, energy, land and materials. Certain things have been achieved in the process, such as reducing the carbon footprint, retaining the existing structure, recycled raw materials used, minimising water requirements, rainwater harvesting and geo thermal air-conditioning.

  • Nitco Biz Park by Nitco Ltd.

    The second project is the Nitco Biz Park which is an IT building developed in Waghale Estate in Thane. Built on a 2 lac sq. ft. usable space it is a ground+6 structure accommodating approximately 2000 people. The project aims to achieve Silver rating in the LEED’s criteria under Core and Shell.
    Its achievement includes reducing energy consumption in facade where external facade with double glaze glass of very low U - Value has helped in achieving refrigerant load as low as 220 sq. Ft./TR. Moreover the roof has been insulated with glass wool to achieve a U - Value of 0.0215 watt per Sq. M. degree Kelvin, which has further helped to reduce the refrigerant load of the building. Even in air-conditioning a VRV type air conditioning system with an ozone friendly refrigerant has been used.

 
 
Green building convention 2010
  • Mr. Akhil Ganatra, M.D. Clancy Global was invited to the Green Building Convention 2010 to speak on 'Consultants’ view on certification services across various sectors of its application'.

    Having opined on the most recognised Green Building certifications like LEED, GRIHA, BREEAM and ECO HOUSING he elaborated benefits of these certifications and the cost involved in building them; finally sharing his experience of designing a 'ZERO ENERGY' LEED Platinum rated building, and its pros and cons.

 
 
Istructe team visits Clancy Global, Mumbai
  • The IStructE is the world's largest membership organisation dedicated to the art and science of structural engineering; founded originally in 1908 as The Concrete Institute.

    As a result of the active participation our Directors have with the Institution in the UK, we were extremely pleased to host a delegate from the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) which included Mr. Norman Train, President for 2010 and Mr. Darren Byrne, Director Membership and Education.

    MIStructE is an internationally recognised professional accreditation for structural engineers. Its membership is highly valued as it confirms a high level of competence.  Moreover as a member, a Chartered Engineer will be well positioned to work as a qualified structural engineer in many countries subject to local requirements.

    We are happy to announce that we have enrolled three of our engineers (i.e. Mr. Gopal Bennur, Mr. Vishal Chawre and Mr. Ishwar Nathe) as members of IStructE. Also our principal engineer Mr. Gopal Bennur, will be pursuing this membership with the Institution under the guidance of our UK Directors, Mr. Mike Hooper and Mr. Sukh Chana.

    Gaining membership will be recognised by our company through promotion, salary increase or extra responsibility. These benefits are in addition to the benefits all members get, which include access to monthly newsletter, online library, CPD courses, participation in technical meetings etc.

 
 
Energy from waste - a growing necessity
  • Clancy Global is actively involved in generating energy from waste, which it sees as an extension of the sustainability department and have always advised clients on civil and structural, geo-environmental, mechanical and electrical, building services engineering, fuel evaluation and selection and planning. We are currently working on a variety of waste management and treatment projects right from being involved in advice in the initial procurement to construction and delivery. Moreover our expanding knowledge with the developing process and engineering technologies is helping us to provide cost-effective solutions.

 
 
News from our UK office
  • New golf club in Muscat

    Clancy Consulting in association with CAPE Architects is in the process of being involved in a most prestigious project in Muscat, Oman. This project involves a golf club and a premium residential property being built in close proximity to the main business district.

  • Success on BSF Schemes with Bouygues UK

    Clancy Consulting Limited are pleased to be working with Bouygues UK on the Waltham Forest BSF Non Standard Schools programme.

    In this joint programme Clancy Consulting Limited has already undertaken the structural and civil engineering design of three schools, namely, Whitefield, Willow Brook and Queens Road with construction having begun on 2 sites. Further Clancy has also been appointed by Bouygues UK for the foundation and external works design for a new Construction Skills Centre. We hope we can continue our mutually beneficial relationship with them as well as making our presence felt in the BSF sector.

  • £130m ‘Gateways to Oldham’ Regeneration

    In alliance with the consortium Inspiral Clancy Global is proud to announce its association as the Preferred Bidder for the PFI social housing and regeneration agreement.

    The project consists of 324 properties to be renovated and the building of 430 new homes with the first new homes aiming completion by 2010. Improved car parking, open public places and other community facilities are also a part of the long term plans.
